The TrackJet® system uses roughly one-tenth of the water consumed by other customary water jetting systems. Thanks to an operating pressure of 2,500 bar, the system requires only 1.7 m³/h.
At a normal level of dirt, this means only 2.5 litres of water are required per square metre. In most cases, the TrackJet® can therefore work an entire shift non-stop without the need to refill the fresh water supply and remove the waste water.
The TrackJet® system requires approximately 4 litres of diesel fuel to clean 100 m², which is around 70% less than other customary methods.
Only one operator is required to run the TrackJet®. Thanks to the extremely low water consumption, there is no need to remove the debris and waste water or refill the tank with fresh water during an average shift. This means less staff are needed on the runway, which in turn means lower costs and improved security.
With the TrackJet® system, markings can be removed extremely efficiently and quickly without leaving behind “phantom lines”. The treated surface is optimally prepared for the application of a new coating using modern marking materials. Cleaning out expansion joints is another interesting application for TrackJet®.
